Company History
Established in 1970, Eljen Corporation created the world’s first prefabricated drainage system for foundation drainage and erosion control applications. In the mid-1980s, we introduced our Geotextile Sand Filter products for the passive advanced treatment of onsite wastewater in both residential and commercial applications. Today, Eljen is a global leader in providing innovative products and solutions for protecting our environment and public health.

Jim King
President
Windsor, CT
Jim King is the President of Eljen Corporation, an onsite solutions provider. He obtained his engineering degree and MBA from the University of Connecticut. Jim retired as a Captain in the US Army, November 2021. Over the past ten years at Eljen, Jim has worked with state, national, and international governments as well as health agencies to improve the onsite wastewater programs. Part of his work at Eljen focuses on new technologies innovation and development. Jim and Eljen Corporation are proud partners of NOWRA, the NOWRA Board of Governors, SORA, and SORA’s Captains of Industry, to name a few.
Eric Daniels
Senior Technical Lead
Windsor, CT
Eric Daniels is the Senior Technical Lead at Eljen Corporation. Mr. Daniels was a First-Class Petty Officer in the US Navy. He served 11 years onboard 3 nuclear submarines as a Sonar Technician and Sonar Supervisor. Since 2016 Eric has specialized in technical training and plan reviews for the onsite wastewater community nationwide. Much of his work is in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Idaho, Georgia, and Indiana.
He is married and a father of 2 boys. Erics’ hobbies are fishing, homebrewing, camping, gardening, cooking, and watching sports with his family.




Scott Moore
Technical Development Lead
Windsor, CT
Scott Moore is the Technical Development Lead for Eljen corporation and has been providing unmatched technical support and training for the last six years. Scott is an Army veteran who is dedicated to customer satisfaction and works tirelessly to provide quality solutions for all onsite situations.
Lee Shamblin
Senior Technical Representative
Windsor, CT
Lee Shamblin is a Technical Specialist at Eljen Corporation. Lee was a Third-Class Petty Officer in the United States Navy. He served 5 years at the Naval Submarine Support Facility Weapons Compound as a Submarine Torpedoman in Groton, CT. Lee has been with Eljen since 2019 and specializes in technical training and plan reviews for the onsite wastewater community nationwide. Much of his focus is on the Midwestern, Northeastern and Southern areas of the U.S.




Drew Nickoli
Technical Specialist
Norwalk, Ohio
Mr. Nickoli served in the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer from 2008 – 2016. Mr. Nickoli served in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan in 2013, performing counter IED and route clearance operations. He also served on the Ohio National Guard’s search and extraction team after returning home from Afghanistan before retiring from the Army in 2016.
He has been in the onsite industry since 2014, and started off working at a test site servicing, installing and sampling wastewater treatment systems. Drew began his career with Eljen in April 2022.
Drew is married and a father of four. His hobbies are going out to the shooting range, golfing, playing basketball, and attending Cleveland and Ohio State sporting events. He is an active member in the “Save A Warrior” community that helps veterans and first responders to overcome the symptoms and addictions associated with Complex Post-Traumatic Stress.
Valerie Jacques
Technical Specialist
Windsor, CT
Valerie Jacques is a Technical Specialist at Eljen Corporation. Mrs. Jacques is currently a Sergeant in the Army Reserves. Upon completion in 2024, she will have served 12 years in the military. She spent five years prior to coming to Eljen working as a teacher for students with different disabilities. IShe joined the Eljen team in 2021 and began onsite wastewater training nationwide. She focuses most of her work on Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
She is married and enjoys hobbies like cooking, anything artistic, watching sports, and spending time with loved ones.




Jimmy Bell
Technical Specialist
Windsor, CT
Jimmy Bell is a technical specialist at Eljen Corporation. Mr. Bell was a Sergant in the US Army. He served ten years in two separate units, 12N heavy equipment operator for six of those years, and then a 12W Carpentry and masonry specialist for the last 4. Mr. Bell has built multiple firing ranges and training sites for soldiers. Mr. Bell joined Eljen corporation in late 2022 as a Technical Specialist. He is engaged and a father of 2, daughter Natalie and son Colton. His hobbies include video gaming, fishing, and watching television with his family.

Eljen’s team is recognized by the Federal Government through the HIRE Vets award program in 2019 through 2022. Based in Windsor, CT, Eljen produces products which are installed throughout the world.
